Privacy policy
Last updated: 31 July 2026
This policy explains how Stream Chasers collects, uses, shares and looks after personal information when you apply to or take part in our Creator Network, use our website, join our community spaces, attend our events, or otherwise deal with us.
The short version
We never sell your information. We use it to run the Creator Network, and we share it with TikTok where that's part of how the network works, including so you can claim prizes and rewards.
You can ask for a copy, ask us to fix something, or ask us to delete your information at any time.
This summary is a guide only; the full policy below governs.
1. Who we are and what this covers
Stream Chasers Pty Ltd (ACN 674 595 905) ("Stream Chasers", "we", "our", "us") is a Sydney-based TikTok LIVE Creator Network operating in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles and, for individuals in New Zealand, the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).
2. What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name and contact details, date of birth and identity information where needed (for example to verify eligibility or pay out a prize), your application details, your communications with us, event registrations, and anything else you choose to provide.
- Information from TikTok, with your authorisation. When you join our Creator Network in-app, you authorise us to access information about your account through TikTok's agency tools, including your TikTok username, handle and account identifiers, and performance information such as LIVE statistics, diamonds, earnings-related insights, and league and campaign data. We may also enter your username into reputable third-party analytics and agency tools to access performance data about your account.
- Community and communications. If you join our community spaces (such as our Discord server) or receive our emails, we see the information you share there and basic engagement data. Community platforms also handle your information under their own privacy policies.
- From our website. Our website platform collects basic analytics and cookie data about visits, which we use in aggregate to understand how the site is used.
We only collect sensitive information, such as health information you choose to share with us, where you provide it or otherwise consent, and we handle it with particular care.
3. How we use it
- Assessing applications and verifying eligibility for the Creator Network.
- Running the network: coaching, resources, campaigns, bonuses, competitions, prizes, events and community.
- Communicating with you about your participation, opportunities and updates.
- Meeting our obligations to TikTok under our agency agreement, including compliance and reporting.
- Safety, conduct and compliance matters, and keeping proper business records.
- Complying with law and establishing or defending legal claims.
We may also use your performance statistics on an anonymised or aggregated basis, in a way that does not identify you, in our marketing, benchmarking and reporting. Where we feature you by name in celebrations, recaps, leaderboards or other promotion, including your username, image or results, we do so based on the permissions you have provided to us, and we deal with any request to stop featuring you in accordance with those permissions and applicable law.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or lease your personal information. We may share it with:
- TikTok and its related entities - to verify eligibility, administer campaigns and bonuses, enable you to claim prizes or rewards, and meet our compliance and reporting obligations under our agreement with TikTok. This includes passing your TikTok username to TikTok.
- Service providers - the tools we use to run the network, such as analytics and agency tools that work with TikTok data, our forms, CRM and email providers, community platforms, and event partners, limited to what they need to provide their service.
- Professional advisers - such as our lawyers, accountants and insurers, on a confidential basis.
- Authorities - law enforcement, regulators or other government bodies where required or authorised by law, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect safety or legal rights.
- Others with your consent.
5. Overseas disclosures
Some recipients are located outside Australia and New Zealand, including TikTok entities (for example in Singapore and the United States) and the providers of tools we use (commonly in the United States). We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information consistently with Australian and New Zealand privacy law.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction, including access controls on the tools we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep personal information while you are an applicant or member of the Creator Network, and afterwards only for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, compliance and record-keeping obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.
You can request deletion at any time by emailing info@thestreamchasers.com.
